An interesting feature of the museum is its interior, which preserves the atmosphere of an old Moscow mansion. In its walls are collected works of outstanding artists of the past, among which: I.I. Levitan, I.K. Aivazovsky, S.F. Shchedrin, F.S. Rokot and many others.

Unfortunately, the mansion partially burned down in 1812, but underwent restoration. A cast-iron staircase, created by Moscow masters in the 19th century, has been preserved in the building itself.
